COOP Norrbotten chooses Mercur Business Control

Another consumer cooperative society, COOP Norrbotten, in the north of Sweden, chose Mercur Business Control for planning, reporting and analysis.
Coop Norrbotten is part of COOP, which is the name of the KF Group's grocery retail group. Coop runs grocery retail trade in chains like Coop Forum, Coop Extra, Coop Konsum and Coop Nära. Coop also operates the Daglivs store and the Internet-based Mataffären.se, both with the Stockholm region as their market. Together with the retail consumer societies, Coop accounts for 21.5% of the grocery retail market in Sweden. Sales of the KF group in 2010 was EUR 3.5 Billions and the number of employees was 7.300.
